Meet the Team
Dr. Lindsay Kline
Owner / Veterinarian
Veterinarians are unique in that their patients cannot tell us what’s wrong. This challenge fascinated Dr. Lindsay Kline from a young age and inspired her to pursue a career that combined medicine with her devotion to animals. Growing up in Southampton, New York, as the daughter of a gynecologist and cosmetic surgeon, Lindsay was raised to appreciate attention to detail—whether it was caring for horses, dogs, cats, pocket pets, boats, cars, etc. Her passion for animal care led her to volunteer throughout high school at the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons.
Lindsay’s love for companion animals took her across the country, from Arizona and Ohio to Colorado, Louisiana, and ultimately Texas, where she has called Prosper home since 2016. She earned her undergraduate degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and English Equestrian Studies from the University of Findlay, OH, in 2006, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in 2012. Geaux Tigers! After graduation, she completed a one-year internship in equine medicine and surgery at LSU before transitioning to small animal practice in Texas.
For over 11 years, Lindsay worked as an associate veterinarian in a busy small animal practice before making the dream of building her own hospital a reality. Windsong Veterinary Hospital was established to serve the growing Prosper community, including Windsong Ranch, Artesia, Mosaic, Star Trail and Prosper’s newest intermediary and high schools—Moseley Middle School and Richland High School.
Dr. Kline is passionate about inspiring future generations of veterinarians. Each year, she mentors two or more Prosper High School interns who are interested in pursuing careers in veterinary medicine. Through hands-on experience in a clinical setting, these students gain valuable insight into animal care, medical procedures, and the dedication required to be a veterinarian. Dr. Kline takes pride in providing these young minds with guidance and opportunities that will help shape their future careers.
Lindsay’s professional interests include preventive and proactive wellness care, dentistry, wound management, and senior pet care. She is the proud mother of two girls, Sophia and Tessa, and shares her home with a lively crew of pets: a handsome Alaskan Malamute (Kodi), a German Warmblood horse (Milo), a ginger Domestic Shorthair (Rubio) and two Holland Lop rabbits (Peanut Butter and Marshmallow).
As a busy mom of two, free time is a rarity, but when she’s not working, you can find Lindsay at the stables or chasing the pavement! She enjoys training and competing in dressage with Milo, participating in triathlons around the country, traveling, and completing Diamond Art paintings. In fact, her attention to detail is showcased in the 601,328 individually placed Diamond Art crystals decorating Windsong Veterinary Hospital.
