Meet the Team
Dr. Lindsay Kline
Owner / Veterinarian
Veterinarians are unique in that their patients cannot tell us what’s wrong. This difficulty fascinated Dr. Lindsay Kline from a young age and compelled her to combine the challenge of medicine with her devotion to animals. Growing up the daughter of a gynecologist and cosmetic surgeon from Southampton, New York, Lindsay was raised to apply attention to detail. Whether that attention was caring for horses, boats, pets or others – details mattered. Her passion led her to volunteer throughout high school for the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons. Lindsay’s love for companion animals then led her to Arizona, Ohio, Colorado, Louisiana and now Prosper, Texas, her home since 2016. Lindsay received her undergraduate degree in Pre-Veterinary medicine and English Equestrian Studies from the University of Findlay, OH in 2006, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in 2012. Geaux Tigers! After Graduation, Lindsay completed a one-year internship in equine medicine and surgery at LSU prior to relocating to Texas in 2014. For over 11 years, she worked as an associate veterinarian for a busy small animal practice before the dream of building her own hospital became a reality when Lindsay and her husband, Trey, a Real Estate Broker and Developer, decided Prosper was the best place to raise their family. Together, they combined their skills to buy and build their practice in west Prosper within the community of Windsong Ranch, Artesia, Mosaic and Prosper’s newest Intermediary and High Schools (Moseley Middle School and Richland High School).
Lindsay’s professional interests include preventive and proactive wellness care, dentistry, wound management and senior pet care. Lindsay and Trey are the proud parents of two girls, Sophia and Tessa. They are also pet parents to a handsome Alaskan Malamute (Kodi), a puffball of a Pomeranian (Scarlett) a German Warmblood horse (Milo) and two Holland Lop rabbits (Peanut Butter and Marshmallow.) As a busy mom of two, free time is a rarity but when not working, you can find Lindsay at the stables or chasing the pavement! She enjoys training and competing in dressage with Milo, participating in triathlons around the country, travelling with family and completing Diamond Art paintings. In fact, her attention to detail can be found in the 601,328 individually placed Diamond Art crystals decorating Windsong Veterinary Hospital.
